           fore bed and/or shampooing/styling. Use a paddle brush or a medium sized comb with moderately sized teeth.

           Shampooing

  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

            Use cool water if not yet installed and lukewarm water after installation.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Cleanse the hair with moisturizing shampoo and in a downward/backward motion in one direction. Do not go
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
          
             in a backwards and forwards motion. This will tangle the hair and may cause excess shedding.
            &#xD;
        &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Rinse and repeat.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/ul&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;h4&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Conditioning
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/h4&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;ul&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Condition the hair with moisturizing conditioner.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Work into the hair in a downward/backward motion in one direction and then comb through with a wide tooth comb from the bottom of the hair all the way to the base of the weft. *Splitting hair into sections will help aid you in detangling if there are any
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Rinse with cool water once hair combs straight through easily
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/ul&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;h4&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Drying
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/h4&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;ul&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Towel dry hair then proceed to sit under a hooded dryer for at least 1 hour. *Time may vary depending on length and density of hair extensions, braids and porosity level. It is recommended to sit until you are able to squeeze a braid (at the foundation of the sew-in installation) and no condensation is visible on your fingers.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Once hair is completely dry, proceed to styling with or without thermal styling tools. For color treated hair, closely monitor temperature of thermal styling tools (no more than 350-400 degrees Fahrenheit. Always use thermal protectant.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/ul&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

           Are you saying to yourself "can I really do this?"

           Well if you are, the answer is "MOST DEFINITELY!, with the help of me, Three Life Guru!
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

           When I first started working out, I had no idea what I was doing! In fact, it took me almost 6 months to start losing the weight I'd gained during my pregnancy with my son Landon (by the way, he was 4 years old at the time)!
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           I was wading in unfamiliar territory, for Sure! But, I had one winning factor, I was DETERMINED; when your determined to do something, NOTHING CAN STOP YOU!
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           What gave me the notion to start working out in the first place, was the fact that I had some health issues during my pregnancy. Yet, I was reluctant to address it right away. I told you, it took me 4 YEARS before I decided to do something about my stagnant "Baby Fat"!
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Nonetheless, I was ready to start my weight-loss jouney! So I joined a gym!
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Now, How many of us have so-called committed ourselves to a gym membership trying to force ourselves to workout more? And still failed to commit? ( I raise my hand in admission) "Guilty"!
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           This was actually my THIRD time joining a gym! So please know that you are not alone, (said in the voice of our late and great Michael Jackson)!
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Believe me when I tell you, Working Out is Hard! It is hard when you go into it with the wrong state of min, but for whatever reason you had an inkling to decide to start is good enough for me! Your conscious led you me and I am here to Help!

          A lot of people are under the impression that Gluten free products are healthier, and a form of diet/weight loss food; well that isn't so.

    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          Gluten is a touch nitrogenous substance remaining when the flour of wheat or other grain is washed to remove the starch. (Definition provided by Dictionary.com)

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           About.com's Jane Anderson states in an article "Gluten-Sensitivity" that about 1 in every 133 American have are sensitive to gluten. Also, the symptoms are very common to other illnesses, which makes it very hard to diagnose.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           To sum it up, check with your doctor and/or nutritionist before you start eating food products without gluten because in those who aren't gluten intolerant, GLUTEN is actually a necessary element and without it other complications may occur!

            If you ever considered going natural (in the last two years), why? What was the end result?

           That is a very good question, and I have the answer for you!

    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

           I have seen many different textures and curl patterns and with all of them you still need to keep your hair healthy and prevent breakage. In order to do that you need to do three things:
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;ul&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Eliminate splitting ends (Regularly)
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Moisturize 
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Protect your tresses at night (while sleeping)
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/ul&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

           In order to get an accurate trim you should have your hair pressed out or straightened about every three months (if you're rocking the natural look 90% of the time).
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           When I straighten my clients curls and coils I always deep condition first…This helps to prevent having to take off too much when trimming.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           To ensure that you don’t ruin your curl pattern with excessive heat, always put your straightener on a lower temperature 390-410 degrees (Make sure to only use straighteners with a temperature controlled setting). The courser your hair is the higher the temp should be… If you want it to stay straighter longer, use more heat and when you shampoo it again always use a protein treatment to help restore your hairs elasticity.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;h2&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Moisture Mania
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/h2&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Natural hair tends to be on the dryer side (depending on the texture), therefore you really should find a product for natural hair to quench your hair’s immense thirst! This will insure that your lovely locks won’t break due to dryness or brittleness!
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;h2&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Protect &amp;amp; Serve 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/h2&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            At night, or whenever you lay down for an extended period of time, you should
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           ALWAYS
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            have something covering your hair! Satin materials tend to be the most effective!
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           So there you have it! It’s those three simple steps right there that’s going to make sure your hair continues to grow healthy and happy!

           Let me ask you, what helps you to determine the hairstyle for you?
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Is it your hairdresser or a picture you saw on your favorite celebrity or maybe something totally unexpected? (Really, leave your answer in the comment section, I would love to know).

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

           Experts say that women choose the way they wear their hair based on face shape, neck length and hair density (how thick or thin the natural hair is). The size of her head (or forehead) is also taken into consideration. This is somewhat true, but this day and age, I find these particular attributes are being considered less and less
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
&lt;div data-rss-type="text"&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           I find that the influence of reality television stars are now trumping the normal impact of the celebrities that are current at the moment and the actresses with the latest movie in the box office.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Not to say that anything is wrong with the referenced influences, however I would like to ask … what’s right?
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

           Curls, Curls, Curls..

            Listen! Since my first job as a Hairstylist , all I could see was curls with my eyes closed. Lol. That’s just how often I curled hair. They say what you practice the most will soon become a natural habit(maybe I came up with that version lol).
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Kinky, Curly, Coily, wavy, or straight , you name it, I love it. Just the idea that I can manipulate someone’s hair texture in healthy ways to achieve many looks on the same head is exciting.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Also I have the skill of doing Blow-outs. Not many people know what a blow out is so I’ll break it down. The Blow-out service involves a round brush from a pre-dried state after washing the hair. This technique is great for softer textures and those who have finer hair that doesn’t hold a curl too great before using a hot tool. The hot tools used would be flat iron, curling iron, curling wand etc..depending on style choice.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
             I love to do Flat Twist styles, updos ,and even Protective styling as well. Braiding , Twist and Crochet are great for styles for longevity. My biggest concern with weave or Protective styles is just the health , tension, and condition of the hair before even considering alternative styles. Damage , breakage, thin hair-lines, bumps and headaches etc..

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

           Of course I can’t leave out the ladies who have a signature style (the same look) keeping it simple and convenient. Looking for a Hairstylist who loves your hair as if it were her own, uses natural products that aren’t harsh and also giving your Natural hair more options of styling, braids , cuts and color? I’m your girl.

  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
